Theory 1 : Air Defence was told to stand down
It's hard for everyone to believe that these hijacked planes could have basically gone without notice by one of the worlds most advanced aircraft security who is trained to deal with these exact situations. The North American Aerospace Defence Command (NORAD) is known world wide for it's ability to track every plane and their ability to intercept any planes that have diverted their course, but during this day NORAD made mistake after mistake and everyone is asking why?
There are several elements involved in domestic air defence. The air traffic control system continuously monitors air traffic and notifies NORAD of any abnormal movements of any aircraft from their flight-paths or loss of radio contact. NORAD monitors air and space traffic 24/7 and is prepared to react immediately to threats and emergencies. It has the power to order units from the Air National Guard, the Air Force, or other armed services to scramble (order to start-up the engines of the jet fighters, which can take up to 5 minutes) fighters to go after the aircraft that is in trouble.
The failures that occurred on September the 11th can be divided up into 4 groups.
Firstly: The failure to report: Information and reports from air traffic control shows unexplainable delays in the time it took for the deviating aircraft took to be reported. The delays include an 18 minute delay in reporting flight 11 and a 39 minute delay in reporting flight 77. This makes everything see more suspicious because of the amount of time it took for these planes to be reported as everyone knows that they failed to respond to communications, had travelled off their planned paths and had stopped emitting its IFF signal.
Secondly: The failure to Scramble: No explanation has been provided for failing to scramble interceptors in a understandable time from bases within easy range to protect the September 11th targets. Fighters that were dispatched were scrambled from distant bases.
Thirdly: The failure to Intercept: Even though the interceptors were not dispatched from the closest bases, the ones that were scrambled would have had enough time to reach their assigned planes if they had been flying at their top speeds, which they were not. (they were flying at a fraction of their top speed)
Lastly was: The failure to Redeploy: The fighters that were in the air at the time of the attacks were not redeployed to the hijacked planes or the intended targets and they were also not redeployed to the capital even though they would have had plenty of time to get there before the pentagon was hit.
This makes the whole situation seem extremely suspicious because if major influential buildings were under attack wouldn't the first decision to be made would be to send out all the air crafts you had to try and stop this happening, this raises the question that the government are hiding something from all of us ?
